Corporation created in 2007, Destination Sept-Îles Nakauinanu (DSIN) has for main objective to promote the tourist destination "Sept-Iles" to the international cruise industry.
Its mandate is to offer to various public and private authorities a permanent structure, in the form of single desk, allowing them to work jointly on the development and promotion of the city of Sept-Îles and its region.
DSIN is seeking a Cruise Operations Coordinator to complete its strategic team.
Reporting to the Executive director, the Cruise operations coordinator contributes to the success of the Sept-Îles port of call in the development and implementation of protocols related to international cruise call days.
More specifically, he/she assumes the following functions and responsibilities:
Directs and supervises the call days at the dock: coordinates logistical and material aspects, organizes external human resources, plans and coordinates special activities and animation;
Coordinate the welcoming of visitors and the entire course of activities at the cruise terminal;
Participate in the development of strategic plans and update the protocols related to cruise operations;
Plans and organizes employee recognition activities;
Directs committees and / or working groups and contributes to the development of port of call products;
Perform administrative tasks relating to the management of the port of call;
Ensures follow-up to information requests and communications with partners and suppliers.

University training in a related discipline (marketing, communications, project management, tourism, administration, etc.);
3 to 5 years of experience in a similar job (logistics, customer service, project management, human resources, etc.);
Valid Driver's license and passport;
Perfectly bilingual (French, English);
Excellent knowledge of MS-Office software (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
WORK CONDITIONS :
Permanent position of 37.5h / week from Monday to Friday, and variable during the cruise season (availability evenings and weekends during the season);
Competitive salary according to experience and current salary scale;
