DSIN's New Board of Directors

SEPT-ÎLES, November 12, 2020 - Following the Annual General Meeting held on October 27, the members of the Board of directors of Destination Sept-Îles Nakauinanu determined the composition of the officers for the next two years.

It is under the sign of the solidity of the partnerships that the administrators wish to plan the relaunch of the cruise industry. The appointment of Mr. Normand Ambroise, representative of the ITUM board, as vice-president of the organization testifies to this desire.

The Board of Directors is proud to count on the involvement of Ms. Mirka Boudreau, who was re-elected as President:

I am extremely proud to resume the role of President of DSIN and touched by the confidence of the Board members in this turbulent year for the cruise industry. The sector has been hard hit by the current crisis, the challenges will be there and the road will certainly be bumpy, but I am convinced that we have the best team to come out of this adventure stronger.
- Mirka Boudreau, President

Mr. Jean-Pierre Maltais, representative of the Port of Sept-Iles, is reappointed as secretary-treasurer. Note also the appointment of Mr. Paul Lavoie, interim director of Tourisme Côte-Nord, replacing Mr. Mario Leblanc and representing regional tourism.

I would like to congratulate Mr. Ambroise on his appointment as vice-president and Mr. Maltais on the renewal of his role as secretary-treasurer. I would also like to officially welcome Mr. Lavoie. I would also like to thank Mr. Réjean Porlier for his years as Vice-President as well as our loyal Board members who continue their mandates, Mr. Serge Mckenzie and Ms. Marie-Eve Cyr.
- Mirka Boudreau, president

With all this talent at its disposal, the Board of Directors is more than confident for the years to come and for the execution of its 2021-23 strategic planning.
